Culture Based Safety Management

All organisations have safety goals, objectives and strategies, which are supposed to be implemented through Safety Management Systems. Even with all the policies, procedures, investigations, and safety hardware, accidents still occur. And 80-90% of the accidents and incidents are attributed to unsafe behaviour amongst employees (Cox, Jones, & Rycraft, 2004).
